World Vision South Africa has launched this year’s 40 Hour Famine. From 20:00 tonight till Sunday 12:00 one can opt to either fast from food or from technology. I decided to fast from food. The idea is then to get some people to sponsor you per hour, all proceeds go towards the poor children of our country.

The idea of fasting is to abstain from something in order to engage in another area. I’m going to take the next forty hours to channel a lot of energy towards the poor of our country – I’ll blog some of my thoughts in the next 40 hours. Shalom.
