We’re back after our vacation. Lollie, Tayla and I had a wonderful time of rest. The three of us together with my folks spent some time in the South African mountains and at the ocean. We came back on Friday, on Sunday our community spent the day at a retreat site.
Every year at Kleipot membership has to be renewed so we took the day to review the past three years of our community and to look into what we’ll be up to in 2007. As preparation for the day our community studied the early church up until the 4th century and focused specifically on the way the early church catechized new members – with the roots of our Christian heritage in our minds we asked what this heritage would mean for our group in Gauteng. It was a great day (I’ll post some more in the following days). We focused on seven main movements (represented by the following icons:)
