As I’ve stated in a previous post, Tayla
teaches me a lot of being a child in the kingdom of God.
As she approaches her second birthday her mastery of language is improving
every day.  Earlier today Lollie told her to say ‘goodbye ma’am’ to one of the
cashiers at the grocery store.

Immediately she asked Lollie in one of her famous one-word
sentence questions "name?”  For Tayla this person was not complete
without a name; she has not been schooled into the dilapidating habit of abstracting
people into functions.  For her, communication is still a building block to communion with others and has not degraded into a tool for consumption, competition or consuming.
