Ernie Els, the number two golf player in the world; also known as the Big Easy responded to a letter he received from the USPGA. Apparently they’re not stoked that Ernie’s not playing all his golf in the USA. I love Ernie’s response:

“I think they need to understand the golfing world has changed through the years. There is a world outside of America and I am part of it,”

I’ve been thinking about this all day. In the church world we sometimes have the same silly notions paraded by the USPGA. We restrict people’s involvement in the kingdom by forcing them to play only in our church neighbourhood.

Here’s my adaptation of Ernie’s response:
